Course Reimbursement

Training Society Reimbursement Policy

How do you qualify for reimbursement?
  • Must be a LiUNA Local 1611 member in good standing (dues paid to date)

  • Must have worked for an employer that contributes into the Training Fund anytime within the past 12 months from the date of the course receipt

  • Must provide an official detailed receipt of course fees paid

  • Must provide documentation showing successful completion of the course

  • Ticket/Certificate must be valid in British Columbia and must meet the standard specific to British Columbia

  • Must submit for reimbursement within six months of the course completion date

  • Fill out and email your completed Reimbursement Form to training@liuna1611.org

100% reimbursement is offered for these tickets
  • Blasting Certification

50% reimbursement is offered for these tickets
  • Level 2 or 3 First Aid

  • H2S Alive

  • Traffic Control Person Two-Day (full course) and Traffic Control Person Requalification (only reimbursable for members who reside outside the Lower Mainland, defined as Hope to Squamish
